I think I'd like to move into this cabin. My entire life the last six weeks plus has been taken up by an estate and preparing a house to sell and divesting all possessions acquired by my aunt and uncle over a long period of years. One cannot be absorbed by the emotional effects of parting with signature items lodged in a mndscape of childhood or some other reasonably happy time. It's too exhausting and debilitating.
Possibly I will be able to blog on soon. Many tales to tell. I just read a Yahoo headline that the Senate thinks FEMA is too screwed up to be fixed. Being out of the news loop I am almost afriad to ask what lead up to such an obvious analysis. If people acted like they gave a damn ... heh.
